Democracy Now! covers arrests of RNC Welcoming Committee members and their press conference, and mainstream coverage of the protests

I was happy to learn that Amy Goodman gave some RNC Welcoming Committee members a voice on her show, Democracy Now! Others have already mentioned the press conference including William Gillis, organizer of the RNC Welcoming Committee, so I will say no more on that matter.

I expect most readers are already familiar with the last story there, and the previous one should be no surprise.

Additionally, I found these two articles in The New York Times.

Only the first article actually appeared in the paper; the second is merely a blog post. As you can see, the mainstream media isn't giving the protesters much of a voice, although the aforementioned articles didn't paint an entirely favorable picture of the police either.

Oh, one more thing: fuck the AP (x2) and fuck the WSJ for their single-sided pro-police reporting of the events.
